12 hours before our planned launch, Icarus, as Andrew's phone-home code for the Android had been dubbed, was working beautifully. Everything else was a shambles...

Wow! signal - Wikipedia

A strong radio signal detected on August 15, 1977, which bore expected hallmarks of potential non-terrestrial and non-solar system origin. It has not been detected again.

One day [we will] build the Pioneer 10 museum to celebrate the first artificial object to leave the solar system.
We'll build it around Pioneer 10, of course, perfectly co-moving. Visitors to the museum will be able to walk around the space-craft and admire its antique workmanship as it obliviously continues its steady journey towards Aldebaran.
